Our qualified practitioners skilfully apply gentle pressure to specific points on your feet, promoting holistic balance and well-being. Enjoy a soothing soak in the spa pool, explore your surroundings with a short waterside walk around the private lake, unwind on the deck taking in the view, or find a comfy spot and curl up with your favourite book. Rest & Restore Practice
-
Release any remaining stress through the body with Rest & Restore. This gentle practice introduces longer-held poses to give the body more time to open. Cushions and blocks are used to support the body into a state of deep relaxation before we find stillness with a Yoga Nidra practice.
Dissolving physical, mental, and emotional tension from the body, yoga helps us to rest deeply before returning to the rhythm of life.

I help busy women focus on their well-being by providing resources, support, and retreats.
My well-being journey accelerated in my mid-30s due to a demanding corporate career and subsequent burnout. I wasn’t alone. All around me, so many strong, successful women were putting themselves last as they did “all the things.” Usually for everyone else. I founded Me Time Escapes to ensure you receive the ‘me time’ you deserve.

Meet Niamh - your retreat co-facilitator and experienced yoga and meditation guide.
Give yourself permission to slow down and journey inward with Niamh, as her Irish accent guides you through mind and body. With over 500 hours of training and many years of teaching, her classes offer a mix of modern movement science interwoven with ancient wisdom from the yoga tradition. Niamh’s yoga journey began with a love of vinyasa flow, which has gradually morphed into more appreciation for the slower styles. We see the blending of this journey in her Yin Yang classes. In more recent years she discovered Yoga Nidra which she now combines with Yin.
When practising with Niamh, she curates plenty of space for you to have your own experience. Providing you with lots of options to find what feels best in your body, her classes are suitable for beginners and those with more experience alike. Living by her mantra "a journey of a thousand miles begins with one step", she invites you to take a step on the mat with her.

Rozanne is a devoted food enthusiast! Whether attending cooking classes, seeking out fresh, seasonal produce, or crafting delightful treats and meals, Rozanne revels in her culinary adventures.
One of her favourite hobbies is immersing herself in recipe books, envisioning flavours, and then bringing her delectable delights to life. Rozanne’s culinary mantra echoes with the refrain, 'flavour, flavour, flavour!' - one that previous Me Time Escapes guests can attest to!

After a very successful corporate career, Lisa rekindled her interest in reflexology. Having always had an interest in things that nourish the mind, body, and soul, it was time to take this interest further.
Lisa has a Diploma in Reflexology (with Honours) and is a graduate from the Auckland School of Reflexology. As your Reflexologist Lisa will seek to restore flow, balance, and harmony. If you’re in need of relaxation, some ‘me time’, or want to destress, Lisa can help you with that.

After dedicating more than 25 years to challenging roles in the Travel Industry, Claire complemented her corporate journey and carried on a family tradition by training as a reflexologist. Claire holds a Diploma (with Honours) in Reflexology having graduated from the Auckland School of Reflexology.
Having firsthand experience in the demanding corporate world, Claire understands the toll it can take on our well-being. Yet, her unwavering belief in the transformative power of reflexology to induce relaxation and facilitate healing for the stresses within our mind, body, and soul drives her passion. Claire is thrilled to share her love for this therapy with others.

We will advise a few personal items you may wish to bring to make the most of your escape. We’ll do this as part of the booking confirmation process.

Due to the nature of the event, we cannot offer refunds if you can no longer attend. However, your reservation is fully transferable to another female over 18, for the same date and package, if advised 24 hours before retreat start time. Email justine@metimeescapes.co.nz to advise. Yoga Nidra is often referred to as "yogic sleep" and is a deeply relaxing practice that you can do while lying down in a comfortable position. Perfect! However, rather than falling asleep, you follow the verbal instructions of your teacher, focusing your awareness on different parts of the body, your breath, and visualisation. As well as being deeply restful, studies have shown Yoga Nidra to reduce stress and improve sleep.
